Background of the Study
Education sector development is pivotal for socio-economic growth. In Geidam Local Government Area (LGA), Yobe State, budgetary allocation practices are central to the success of educational initiatives. Proper allocation and management of resources are necessary for addressing educational infrastructure, teacher training, and student performance. However, issues such as insufficient funding, corruption, and weak monitoring mechanisms have hindered progress. This study evaluates the role of budgetary allocation practices in promoting education sector development in Geidam LGA.
